Delairea odorataHow to Control:

  1. Hand pull small plants, or dig out roots (all year round). Leave on site to rot down.
  2. Cut and treat stems with (100ml glyphosate /1L water) or (1g metsulfuron /1L water). Leave on site to rot down.
  3. Cut stems below waist height, spray below this point (spring-summer to actively growing plants) with (100ml glyphosate/10L water), or (2g metsulfuron/10L water), or 60ml Tordon Brushkiller® +10ml penetrant//10L water), or (120ml Banvine +10ml penetrant//10L water). Add penetrant to all mixes.

Mostly wind dispersed. Pulled roots and vines may be left to rot down on site.

Easiest controlled at flowering, when highly visible before seed produced.
