You may not think taking action in your own backyard is significant, but it is key to our success! Weeds don’t care about boundaries. Pulling out those moth plant seedlings growing up the fence, or cutting and treating that wild ginger behind the shed, is actually helping to protect places like Mt Manaia, Reotahi and Bream Head/Te Whara. We know there are hundreds of households across the Whangārei Heads peninsula doing their bit to make invasive weeds unwelcome in their backyard.
